Event Description:
Each month, you’ll learn a new practice, from breathwork, to observing thoughts and
sensations, body-based awareness, Yoga Nidra, and mindfulness. Meditation has
been widely shown to reduce stress, increase emotional clarity, and support overall
mental wellbeing, making it a powerful tool for navigating PMDD. Together, we’ll explore foundational meditation practices that help regulate the nervous system and build emotional resilience.
Class Structure
● 10 minutes of gentle education on the month’s practice
● 30 minutes guided meditation
● 20 minutes group reflection and discussion
Intended Audience: This monthly class is designed to support anyone living with PMDD, at any stage of their journey.
Hosted by: Amy is the founder of The Feminine Rhythm, where she supports women in navigating the challenges of PMDD through an integrative and deeply compassionate approach. Drawing from her own lived experience with PMDD, Amy weaves together the modalities that have been most effective for emotional and hormonal wellbeing.
Her work focuses on helping women reconnect with their natural rhythm, reclaim their sense of empowerment, and rebuild self-love after years of self-doubt or self-rejection.
Amy has spent significant time in the East studying philosophies and practices that bridge Western psychological understanding with Eastern wisdom, allowing her to offer a holistic and accessible approach to PMDD support.
She is passionate about increasing global awareness around menstrual wellbeing and ensuring women feel seen, understood, and supported on their healing journey.
A recording of the practice portion of the session will be provided for all registered participants. Live attendance is encouraged to allow for real-time reflection and facilitated support. The Q&A portion of the session will not be recorded.
This session will not be added to the IAPMD Digital Download Library. Registration prior to the event date is required to receive access to the recording.
Thanks to the generous support of the Christina Bohn Foundation, we’re able to offer a limited number of complimentary tickets to help make this event accessible to everyone who wishes to join. Please reach out to events@iapmd.org for more information.
