Suicidality in Premenstrual Disorders - Rewatch and Live Q&A
Hosted by the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders (IAPMD), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing awareness and education about premenstrual disorders like PMDD.
This event supports IAPMD’s mission to equip clinicians with up-to-date tools for timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment. We have organized the following event for professionals, trainees, and the general public interested in discussions that are clinical in nature.
Event Description:
Join us for a special replay of a recorded professional webinar featuring Dr. Jaclyn Ross, who explores the literature on suicidality in premenstrual disorders. This important session offers best practices for assessing suicidality across the menstrual cycle and provides guidance for delivering timely interventions for suicidal patients with premenstrual disorders in the context of ongoing psychotherapy. Stay for an open discussion and Q&A with Dr. Ross, following the viewing.
Dr. Jaclyn Ross is a clinical psychologist and researcher specializing in the intersection of the menstrual cycle and mental health. As a Research Scientist in the CLEAR Lab at University of Illinois, Chicago, she leads clinical trials, supervises diagnostic interviews, and investigates the links between hormone fluctuations, suicidality, and interpersonal dysfunction. She also runs a private practice in Chicago focused on evidence-based care for premenstrual, mood, anxiety, and trauma disorders, and serves on the Clinical Advisory Board of the International Association of Premenstrual Disorders (IAPMD).
*CPD accreditation is available for both live and recorded viewing. The QR code to access your CPD certificate of completion will be sent at the same time as the recording of the session. Please allow at least 7-10 business days for credit to be issued.
