Event Description:
Navigating the healthcare system while living with PMDD or PME can be overwhelming - especially when medical appointments leave you feeling unheard, dismissed, or unsure of your next steps.
This practical and empowering online workshop, hosted in partnership with Laura Teare-Jones, will guide you through how to prepare for your medical appointments with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
We’ll explore a simple, adaptable framework you can use to:
Clarify your goals for the appointment.
Organize your symptoms and key information.
Prepare emotionally for difficult conversations.
Ask questions and advocate for your needs.
Reflect on what to do if things don’t go to plan.
You’ll leave with tools, prompts, and phrases you can use immediately - whether your appointment is next week or months away.
Please note: This session is designed for a global audience. It will not include country-specific policy advice but will acknowledge and support the different healthcare systems and access routes attendees may experience.

This session is for anyone living with PMDD or PME (diagnosed or not) who wants to feel more prepared, assertive, and supported during their medical appointments.
What to bring:
Pen and paper or your journal if you like to write things down - this is a reflective session as much as a practical one.
