Event Description:

Dive into the clinical complexity of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) across the female lifespan in this dynamic webinar. Through a powerful real-world case study and a trauma-informed, biopsychosocial lens, we unpack the nuanced diagnostic challenges, unpredictable symptom patterns, and the critical need for personalized, multidisciplinary care that truly meets patients where they are.

Intended Audience:

This webinar is designed for mental health clinicians, medical providers, and allied health professionals seeking a deeper understanding of PMDD. It is especially relevant for those working in women’s health, psychiatry, psychology, primary care, and trauma-informed practice.

Dimple Khatiri is a Mental Health Pharmacist and an Independent Pharmacist Prescriber with over 12 years’ experience working across primary, secondary and tertiary mental health services, based in the UK. She currently works for a Mental Health Trust and is in the final year of her Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) training in mental health.

She is a strong advocate for lifestyle medicine and holistic, trauma-informed care. Drawing on both clinical expertise and lived experience of PMDD, Dimple is passionate about empowering women and improving awareness of PMDD through education and evidence-based practice for both patients and healthcare professionals. She has contributed to national conversations on PMDD through podcast appearances with The PMDD Project, IAPMD, and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and is the author of the first learning article on PMDD for pharmacists in The Pharmaceutical Journal. She is also currently developing a national e-learning module on PMDD for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (UK).
